Mike is a veteran of commercial construction with 25 years of experience in the industry. The son of a lifelong stone mason, Michael began his pursuit of the industry at a very young age spending summers as a teenager laboring for stone masons in his father’s company. After High School and serving 4 years in the United States Navy, where he also attended Hawaii Pacific University, he began his journey in business. An entrepreneurial spirit and fierce desire to succeed led him to his path in commercial construction where he has worked as a Superintendent, Project Manager, General Superintendent, Director of Operations and now VP of Operations/COO of Summit Construction Group. He has been responsible for projects that span nearly coast to coast across the United States ranging from $50k early in his career, to his peak with projects well over $1.2 Billion in the last few years including MLB Stadiums, Education, Higher Ed, Tesla’s Manufacturing Facility, Health Care and High End Hospitality. He has served as a Consultant/Owners representative on several high profile projects and is a construction forensics specialist for Public Adjuster/General Liability Claim Specialty Firms. He is a bold and innovative Leader with a proven track record of success in the commercial/residential construction industry.

Outside of the Industry, Michael continues to train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He earned his Black Belt in 2015 after winning 2 IBJJF World Championships at lower belts (Purple and Brown) and although retired from competing, still enjoys training a few times a week. Michael stays active in the Martial Arts community and occasionally works as a broadcaster on UFC Fight Pass.
